The Once Upon a Wish Emporium was born in 2020 and is now settled into our new premises at 144 Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells! The Emporium was designed to be a bespoke and magical adventure from start to finish

How many children can we have in the venue?Our venue is perfect for up to 12 children, however we do find that the adults can be a little cosy. As our experiences are targeted at the little royals and we want them to have the best time ever, we do reccomend that the parents of the party guests sit in the spaces around the main event area (our upstairs room) or even visit one of the local coffee shops and take some time off.

How far in advance should I book?We reccomend booking at least 4 weeks ahead of your party although if you'd like to avoid disappointment then consider booking 6-8 weeks ahead of your prefferred date.

How do I pay for the party?Once you've enquired and we've agreed what it is you'd like to book, we'll send you a booking form to collect all of the details. Once complete we'll require a deposit (usually £100) to secure your spot and the balance will be due just before the party. We'll advise you how best to pay at this point but we can take payment via BACS and Paypal.

Can I bring food?Absolutely, we offer catering options to be added to any party package, however, you're more than welcome to bring your own should you prefer, all that we ask is that any rubbish is taken away with you as we have a tight turnaround of just 30 minutes between parties.

Can you provide party bags?We most certainly can, we have optional extras for all of our parties, including party bags, a wrapped gift for each of the guests, food, drink and we're adding more options all of the time so just ask if there's anything you'd like us to include and we'll see what we can do.

What's the best package to go for?This is really based on what you think your little one will most enjoy, but our most popular package is currently the Once Upon a Party Silver Package. We're also happy to discuss more bespoke options if you feel the one for you is currently catered for.

Can we pick any character?We are somewhat driven by the availability of our performers but with over 40 on our roster we are confident that you'll be able to take your pick. Visit our character line up page for the most up to date list of who we can provide. To avoid disappointment we'd recommend booking early as we have some characters that are incredibly popular and sell out fast. Some of our packages don't include a character and are hosted by a one of our fantastic party hosts, however these can be added, just ask us to find out more.

Is there parking available?Fortunately we are next to an open air pay and display car park on Camden Road so there is ample parking within a 1 minute walk from our venue. Also, many of the roads surrounding us have restricted free parking for anything from 2 hours, but please be sure to double check the restrictions as we don't want a parking ticket to ruin your experience.
